Sprouts pancake

img_20181206_102805_205Green moong & black chickpea sprouts savoury pancakes with beetroot raita is vegeterian delight. This is idle for the people who want to loose weight.
Gluten free, high protein, rich in iron and high in fibre.

Ingredients :

1 cup green moong sprouts

1/2 cup black chikpea sprouts

1 grated carrot

1 onion finely chopped

2 green chillies

1 inch ginger

4 cloves garlic

1 spoon lemon juice

Salt to taste

3 spoon oil

Recipe : In a grinder jar add green moong & chikpea sprouts, ginger, garlic, green chillies and 1 cup water. Blend to a smooth paste. Transfer to a bowl & add grated carrot, onion, lemon juice and salt. Add 2 – 3 spoon of water and mix well. Heat a non stick tawa & greece it with some oil. Reduce heat to medium and pour in batter to make 6 inch pancake. Sprinkle oil over it. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on both side. Repeat until all the batter is used up. Serve hot with beetroot raita.

Beetroot raita

A very easy and healthy  curd raita made from beetroot & few indian spices.

Ingredients :

100 gram curd

1 small beet grated

1/2 spoon oil

1/4 spoon mustard seed

2 curry leaves

Black Salt

Recipe : Take curd in a bowl and whisk throughly. Add grated beetroot and salt. mix well. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seed & curry leaves and let them crackle for a few seconds. Pour tempering over raita. Easy and healthy raita is ready.
